The Cub Scout Pack was formed at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange.

On Wednesday, March 21, members of Cub Scout Pack 88, formed at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange, visited Station 75 for a tour and demonstration.

"All scouts and some family members were even able to hold a fire hose shooting water into the pond, adding to the excitement of the whole evening," Knights of Columbus Publicity Chair Ted Morrell wrote in an email.

Under the leadership of Cub Master Wayne Kelly and Assistant Master David Carson, approximately 27 boys, ages 6 to 10, found a home at the church under the sponsorship of the Knights of Columbus Star Council 8086.

Several mothers and fathers have acted as den leaders meeting every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the OLOH Parish Center. Every five weeks the scouts have camping trips plus several different day trips allowing the cubs multiple opportunities to achieve badges of their accomplishments.
